Camping

We welcome all types of touring campers - caravans, campervans, motorhomes and tents.

Berry Barton is an ideal located for exploring our beautiful surroundings and is popular with visitors to the local Beer and Folk festivals at Branscombe and Sidmouth.

We don't allocate pitches but we have a number of electric hook ups that have to be pre-booked. There are numerous water taps around the main camping field, along with a grey waste disposal drain near the gate to the caravan site. We have a recently refurbished and extended shower and toilet block and washroom facilities with a coin operated washing machine and separate tumble dryer.

  • Children sharing adult accommodation come free of charge. A nominal charge will be made for children on a separate pitch.
  • Fire pits are allowed providing they are raised, do not damage the turf and are extinguished appropriately.
  • Dogs are welcome free of charge at Berry Barton but we ask that they are kept on leads whilst on the campsite and whilst they are in the vicinity of livestock. Owners are responsible for ensuring dog mess is bagged and disposed of in the bins by the entrance.
